It’s time to get Outside to Work Out
There are many reasons to exercise outside and I am going to share some of those reasons with you throughout the week.
A survey of 2,000 participants by Scottish Health Survey was conducted to determine the effects of outdoor physical activity verses working out inside. The survey revealed that 50 percent of the participants reported “greater positive effect on mental health than going to the gym”.
This same research team from the Glasgow University confirmed that outdoor aerobic activities such as: walking, running, biking, and other outdoor activities, lowered stress.
