I enjoy using scrapbooking supplies to make cards. Anyone else making cards?

I <3 Card making! I like to say that cards are just mini scrapbook pages. LOL I teach a card workshop once a month where we make 5 cards. Each month I try to do a different theme or technique too. We've done color techniques, dry embossing, stamping and many more.

Do you make cards for certain occasions?

I'm very new to this craft and have made a few birthday cards. When I see stickers or other papers that I think might make a nice card I pick them up. Ribbon is nice to use too. My latest acquisition is a paper cutter.

For one card I cheated and used construction paper but added better cardstock inside.

I think Birthday cards are what I make most of that I personally use. You will love having a paper cutter - it makes everything so much easier!

I think if there were levels, it would go scissors, paper trimmer, paper cutter (bigger than trimmer), punches, then Cricut or some other cutting system.

Cards can be made with unique items more than scrapbooks. I hate to say this, but most people don't keep a card as long. And, they don't have photos to be careful of (in most cases.)
