I did a little positive self-talk today when I had a deadline approaching and I was still writing the product. Whoowie! I really had to hustle to finish on time. There was not a minute to spare for negative thinking.

Tonight I will definitely have to practice my positive self-talk. I have a lot of work to do and not time to let doubt creep into my game plans. So, I will get everything done!

When confidence is what you need, positive self-talk can help do the trick. If you have a job interview, tell yourself all of the things that you are good at in the work environment. You know that they will ask what your greatest weakness is, face that, but also tell yourself and the interviewers how you have improved.

It is not only positive self-talk that helps negative symptoms of ADD. It also has to do with how you stand and hold your mouth. Smile!
