Sentai Filmworks announced at the company's Anime Boston panel that it has acquired the licenses for the following anime series: Gatchaman, Di Gi Charat, and Godannar.
Sentai will be releasing the entire original Gatchaman television series bundled with the three-episode OVA series on DVD and Blu-ray Disc in October 2013. The OVA series will then release the OVA series separately on DVD only.
The company will be releasing the original Di Gi Charat television anime series on DVD only in October 2013. Sentai also has the license for the three Di Gi Charat OVAs that went with the first series and the Winter Garden special; however, the company has not revealed when it will release the OVAs and the special.
Sentai announced that it will be releasing Godannar on DVD only in October 2013.
In addition to these licenses, Sentai announced that it would be releasing the first season of the AKB0048 television anime series on bilingual DVD and Blu-ray Disc in September 2013.
Sentai will also be releasing the following titles in October 2013 on DVD and Blu-ray Disc:
