Do you have ideas for sandwiches, soups, or sides that you would like me to investigate?
What products or books would you like me to review?
I look forward to your ideas and comments.

Also, what books would you like me to write using existing recipes?

Would you rather have sandwiches and sides in the book or separate books?
What about pairings for the foods? Would you want a section about what goes well together?

Do you have a favorite meat or cheese that you use for sandwiches? Let us know about it in the forum. I can write a review or develop a recipe.

I love Pepper Jack Cheese and Smoked Gouda. As for favorite meat, I don't have one although bacon is pretty tasty.

My husband just had a muffeletta sandwich at lunch today. He loves that olive spread!

Looks like olive spread goes on the list. Do you buy a particular brand that you like?

I have never tried a muffeletta sandwich, so I need to find a good one to be able to write the recipe. I'll be on the lookout for some olive spread. Have you or your husband tried my pinwheels with olive spread? Mmmmm. Yummy! I love this stuff so much that I could just fall face down in the bowl! Here's the link. Isn't that an easy recipe for olive spread?

Hi Connie. I haven't tried that olive cream cheese spread yet but will soon. He need more dental work before he can eat nuts!
I have never bought a bottled muffeletta olive spread. We've only eaten this sandwich at a deli or restaurant as it also uses a lot of Italian cold cuts that I don't usually buy plus a special bread.
The thing he likes about the olive spread is that it is vinegary, almost like a tapenade, giardiniera, relish and chow chow.
Hey, that's another idea for you! Chow chow relishes. Chutneys. Tapenade, etc. I love those on my sandwiches!

I never had a muffeletta sandwich, but they do look good so I'd like to try one some day. But I would like to go to a sandwich shop or deli that is known for their muffelettas to try my first one.

LOL. I just began a thread here about flavored mustards, Connie! Now you have 26 ideas! The muffeletta is a big sandwich. Many layers of Italian cold cuts and cheeses, but the key is that olive spread. That olive spread would be good for many other recipes, too. I'd roll some up in flattened chicken breasts. Might be too tangy for Beef Wellington but who am I kidding, I'm not going to make wellington in the foreseeable future anyway. I'm getting a tad lazy in the kitchen as I get older.

I have the muffeletta down on the list. You've given me some ideas for variations. Thanks!

Well, I've tracked down a couple of places locally that sell the muffaletta, so I'll go to one soon to try this treat.

Tomorrow I might go to a Brazilian cafe and see what they have in the way of a wrap.

I made a muffeletta sandwich today. I need to tweak it a bit before publishing.

Lori, I've got the muffeletta article about half done. I am going to make a light version and a classic version.

The Simple Muffeletta Sandwich Recipe will be out tomorrow. I have the traditional sandwich--thick, meaty, and full of flavor on an Italian bread. Then, I have the lighter version and a hot variation on sprouted grain bread.

This muffeletta sandwich is sooooo easy to make. It takes just a few minutes, doesn't heat up the kitchen, and is tasty.
