Susan -

That's great on your daily meditation at 8pm your time. So would that be 2pm east coast time? I'm not always awake at 2pm, but I can certainly be aware of it the times that I am. How long do you meditate for?

Yes, every day at 10pm I have a timer to remind me to meditate for 10 minutes. With my odd schedule it seems to be the only time that I'm almost always awake for. Although tonight it'll be in the middle of an editor chat so I'll have to push it off for a few hours smile.

Yes, 8pm here in the Netherlands translates as 2pm east coast time and 11am west coast time. I usually sit for 20 minutes, but even one minute is wonderful. We started our daily cyber meditation on the New Year January 1, 2012.

OK I will try to keep 2pm in mind to join you Susan!

I'm ten minutes away from starting my ten minute meditation at ten pm EST smile. If anyone is around to join me, that would be lovely!

I love meditation and don't know how I ever managed without it.

It was challenging at first as I tried to fit it in to an already busy schedule then I managed to incorporate it into my day and embodied it.

Now every day and every activity is a meditation. Keeping a background awareness of the breath and being mindful of tasks, walking, eating etc helps me stay balanced and calm.

I'm Vipassana trained and aim to attend at least one silent retreat a year. I also meditate formally for an hour (sometimes 2) each day before sleeping and on waking alongside my yoga practice.

Thanks Susan. It's definitely come in handy the past few weeks as I've been coping with pleurisy. Think I would have gone insane through the pain if I didn't have meditation in my life.

Love your work, hope others are inspired to make meditation a part of their life smile
