Chocolate Tea Bark

(as seen in the April 2013 issue of Better Homes & Gardens)
They suggest this as a take away gift for a tea party.

*8 oz. good quality semisweet and bittersweet chocolate (they used Scharffen Berger)finely chopped
*1/4 cup tea leaves (green teas with herbal or floral notes work best)
*1/2 tsp. sea salt flakes (they used Maldon)

Melt choc. in heatproof bowl over simmering water
Line a half-sheet pan with parchment paper (13 x 18)
Pour chocolate on and spread to the edges

Immediately sprinkle tea over chocolate followed by the sea salt.

Set this aside for 2 hours or until firm.
Cut into pieces with chef knife.
* Present in little cute packages for guests or serve on a fancy serving tray.

Play with types of your favorite teas & favorite chocolates.

Make a pitcher of green tea the way you always do, Chill in refrigerator.

Then add sliced cucumbers to the pitcher...yummy good treat for hot days.

*Display in glass pitcher or glass drink dispenser sure to be a crowd pleaser!

*variation serve with floating lemons as well!
