Having written about Angela Lansbury, I couldn't leave out her alter-ego Jessica Fletcher in Murder She Wrote.

Those episodes are shown and shown again - and again - but I confess I still enjoy them. In fact I often use them as "background telly" when I'm working, and will sometimes stop working to watch more attentively if a really good one comes on.

Murder She Wrote is as cozy as curling up by the fire with a cup of tea. So go on - be honest, now - who else still loves this show and why?

Amazingly, I never realized until yesterday that there were books by "Jessica Fletcher" and her "collaborator". It was quite by chance I found them on Amazon, then saw your recommendation and decided they would be worth a try.

I've ordered a used copy of an early one, 'Gin and Daggers', that looks good. Have you read that one?

I get them from the library, there are quite a few! I think I have read that one, they are easy reads especially during travel :-)
