Anyone else as rabid a movie fan as I?
I've got tix to catch the movie at 12:01am tonight with some friends. I'm going to wear my men's Renaissance Fair shirt too.

It was GREAT!!! I felt the same as when I am reading a really good book and don't want the story to end but then find myself speed reading because I can't wait to find out the ending. It didn't feel long at all, even at 2.5 hours, unlike Superman. Yeah, it was good. Good news/Bad news--there is another one comming/we have to wait a year.

I didn't like it as much as Pirates 1... but I think that is because it is mainly a lead up to Pirates 3. This is the problem that many middle movies of trilogies has. I'm hoping Pirates 3 will be as good as the 1st one.

I did not like it at all. The behavior of the Commodore didn't make any sense at all. It was like he was a completely different person. The fight scenes were overdone, especially the sword fight on the rolling waterwheel. Why didn't the Kraken destory the Black Pearl as quick and easy as it did the other ships. The whole story was too convoluted. And why does Captain Barbosa suddenly return in the end. Does no one die in these films?

I watched the first and hated it, very long and boring but Johnny Depp is awesome in it. I think I did see the sequel but I seriously am not sure. I know that I have not seen the third movie. I was disappointed when I did not liked the first since it looked good.
