More and more lady have their hair dyed into the color they prefer to, though is is harmful for skin. So I wonder that whether the fashion and beauty are based on the color of hair?

Yes, sometimes beauty are based on the color of hair. For example, there are make-up that looks best on red-haired, blonde-haired or black-haired women. For the fashion, I think hair color will not matter as long as you know how to carry yourself well.

Without coloring your hair you can cover it with with good hair styles that will suit you. Because coloring might damage the root of your hair which will give you hair loss problems.

Colored hair is in fashion right now, it doesn't have to match your outfit, it only needs to COMPLIMENT your outfit. Matching lets say purple hair with a purple outfit is ultra tacky. Again, colored hair is in fashion right now, and as you know, fashion changes frequently.
