My name is Catherine Ebey, and I am the new Biology editor. I just wanted to take a second to introduce myself to all of you. I have been with Bella Online for about three weeks now, and I have been enjoying this site immensely. I hope you have enjoyed reading my new articles and exploring everything that BellaOnline has to offer.

Please feel free to post a response introducing yourself as well. I would love to learn more about you and your interests.

I would also like to ask you what *you* would like to read about. Do you have any topics in particular that you wish to learn more about? As a side note, has anyone read Michael Pollan's "The Botany of Desire: A Plant's-Eye View of the World"? This book is a fantastic blend of biology and history. I will try to keep posting about other fun biology books. Happy reading!

I am a nature lover although I have never formally studied science beyond the requisite undergrad classes.
