Hi there,

Many people experience back pain at some time in their life with some dealing with it on a daily basis. A few dietary changes and some gentle asana can help to keep pain at bay while strengthening the spine.

Thanks for writing this article. I started yoga about a year ago due to lower back pain....nothing else was helping. After a few months of going twice a week, I noticed a significant decrease in my daily pain. I also (6 months ago) changed to a clean whole foods, grain-free, (zero processed food) diet and I'm sure the combo is what did it.

Hi Tracy,
Last evening I went to a great yoga class. I was feeling a bit anxious yesterday (not sure why) and my body felt tense.
Yoga was just the thing. I came home feeling so serene, peaceful and with a lightness in my body.
I love yoga!
