Remember a daughter's first love is her parent's. Tell her you love her today, not because it's
"Random Acts of Kindness Week", not because it's Valentine's Day. But because she's your daughter. I take it back especially because it's Valentine's Day. Today around the world kids will hear valentine wishes and in some schools they allow cards and candy to be handed out. Your daughter may experience mixed feelings on the day and about her feelings for others. Tell her what love is and about how much you have for her on this day and other days. Also, include how you are looking forward to when she get's home so that you can enjoy the day with a healthy meal, with some sweets to top it off. Let her know that even though it's a school night a good home movie or games will be included. And although you will be exhausted from your day. It's important to make her day worth while, you'll feel good about your day as well. It will be a mentally healthy day to have family time.
Don't forget it's kindness week and spread the love just because. Have fun!
P.S. Thank you for participating in this weeks activity as well as today's Valentine wishes for your daughter. My act of kindness is to say
"Thank You"
