I just ran my first 5k at the Disney Royal Family. 5K during the Princess Marathon Weekend.

Thanks Teri and Barbara! My apologies, I have not been in the forums in awhile.

It felt good, but I know I can do better. So we three sisters promised that we would ALL run the 1/2 next year. My older sister runs the half all the time at least 5 or so a year. My younger sister and I need to work up to it, so I'll continue to train and also get in another 5K and a 10K before the 13K next February.

I have it posted on my accomplishmen board for the year so I can look at the goals every day.

Good to hear from you Dianne. Your goals are great and even better is that you get to persue them with your sisters.

Have my plan almost set working my way to the 1/2 marathon next February. I set goals so I've signed up for 2 more 5k's one in April and The Biggest Loser one in DC in July. I've got my workouts planned - running 3 set days Tuesday (I did today) Thursday and Saturday with Sunday being optional.

I've got it up on the wall where I can see it every day. I'm determined!

I'm also working my way through the book Run Your Butt Off.
