A new scheme in Uganda is giving an elder in small, remote villages a smartphone. They use the phone to access information online and can be directed to a call center. Anyone in the community can see the Community Knowledge Worker for advice about farming, trading, education etc.
How marvellous that technology can be used so positively to help people!
