Been doing some internet research about buspar and dreams. I took it again last night, as i usually do, as prescribed. And whoa - my dreams, once again, could only be described as relentlessly action-adventure-dark fantasy-dystopian. I am exhausted from all these vivid trips to bizarro world.

Andyway the research s showing that a certain percent of people on Buspar have sleep disturbances and vivid, intense, overlong dreaming.

Tonite I will take the buspar around dinner, and NOT before bed.

When I get home I need to meet with my clinician.

Good. Good.

Yes. Yes.

Please experiment with the times to keep you out of that bizzaro world.

It's important.

Loong,

Too funny and this is a real story too!

I was on a waiting list at Mayo for 3 yrs.

I had elevated Lymphosites, had a cane to walk with, couldn't hold even a tooth-brush (sp?) and my nervous system (what they called it...not 'nerves' but the whole system) was ignited or fighting off something with a fury. So it felt like I had 3rd degree sunburn through my whole body.

Well, WATER! That's what ended up helping me during the "wait."

Dreams though, they can happen for a number of reasons, in general.

Prescriptions, if they're involved, well, we're biological by nature. Like a recipe.

So, if someone gives you something and honestly, you're never entirely sure why it is someone prescribes things (you're kind of handing over your power to someone else).

It's really best (in my opinion) to just sit with how an outside component is making you feel confused

Recently I had to fire someone due to their reasonings, not being in my best interest. It had to do w/beaurocracy...medications, even perceptions can go the same way wink

I have been experimenting with when to take the buspar. Good results and bad.

The good - less disturbing, exhausting dreams.

The bad - more daily anxiety.

I do really need to take it twice a day, but it seems i should not take it after the late afternoon. That's what i have so far.

I will see my clinician next week to discuss all this.

Everyone, thank you for your thoughts.

Jilly, your intelligence never ceases to amaze me. You amaze me with your ability to manage your conditions so well and seeing patterns is the key.

I need to keep better track of my own patterns. What I have done so far has made a difference in my life but I need to apply this pattern-watching in other areas of my life, too. Thank you for the reminder!
