I am feeling the excitement of friends and family as they write/talk about the preparations they are making for the upcoming holidays. It is nice to hear about other peoples family traditions and the wonderful foods that go along with it.

What is happy in your day?

A beautiful Saturday with my family. We're looking forward to grilling in the backyard while we work with (train) the dogs.

Until then, there are errands to run but we get to hang out together so it's all good.

The weather in south Florida is holding steady at mild with temps in the 70s. I am bracing myself for the hot and humid weather, that I know will be here soon.

So, I am happy for the continued beautiful weather.

What is happy in your day?

Today is windy, chilly and a bit drizzly off and on. I hope the wind doesn't blow away all the avocado blossoms!

I'm also sad I'm missing my new 2-mile walk/run route but there's a reason for everything. Maybe it's time for yoga or...dancing! I might put on a youtube video and learn a dance. How fun!

The "happy" in my day today is seeing the giant pink flowers that blossomed outside my kitchen window.

What is happy in your day today?

A clear blue, cloudless sky that goes on forever. Fresh air perfumed by colorful blossoms. My three loyal chi mixes who follow me wherever I go.

A nice lunch with my daughter. Picked up potting soil to resurrect my container gardens. Now, writing. Life is beautiful.

Very "happy" times over the past few days. Birthdays can do that. Lots of cake and gifts and bday wishes.

The "happy" in my day is...
being able to put a lift in someone's day with a small and quick comment of support and kindness.
