I just love Indian food! Not all dishes, but a lot of them. I saw a program about an Indian marketplace that was filled with many baskets of beautifully colored spices. They said that there is an old saying that a dish isn't a dish without at least 15 spices! Wow, 15 spices.

Thank you! Most Indian dishes contain easily more than 15 spices! Garam masala itself may contain anywhere from 30-45 different spices :-)
