My boss has given his retirement notice. I've only reported to him for about two years, but he and the boss that retired during my 5 years before that were the absolute best bosses I have ever had. They allowed me to grow, pursue my interests in HR outside of our agency.

Many of the staff are concerned about his replacement. I'm not to worried about the replacement, it's just that this director has been outstanding.

Do you like your boss? Why or why not?

I love my bosses. Even though they are virtual they are responsive and encouraging. It is great to feel part of a team even when I'm working at home.

Vi, is it a challenge to have a virtual boss? I think that would be awesome.

All in all good if you are a good judge of people. Not as easy as working in the work place and having other people who can tell you what your boss likes though.
