High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS): This is a man made sweetener that is cheaper to produce and actually sweeter than sugar. There are actually new commercials touting how healthy HFCS is. They are trying to say that it is safe and natural. Let me ask you this: Can you squeeze corn syrup from corn? Can mom make high fructose corn syrup at home? NO! It's a lie! Remember the quote above? HFCS is anything but natural and will actually shut off your hunger mechanism allowing you to eat without feeling full which will MAKE YOU FAT! It is associated with blood sugar problems (ATTENTION Moms: Childhood obesity, and Juvenile Diabetes is on the rise! So is ADD/ADHD. HFCS is a huge culprit!) depression, fatigue, B vitamin deficiency, indigestion and tooth decay. HFCS is found in soda, candy, condiments, cereals, breads, etc. More info: fatlossfactor.eu

I agree that this thing is not healthy but it is not to blame for people being obese! I never have watched what I eat and drink but I eat and drink a lot of things with high fructose corn syrup and I am not fat and never was either (i also dont have any illness besides depression but i had that when i was very young and when i was young my parents [1 of the rare things they did right] did not feed me and my brother [censored] so my depression cannot be linked to that). I just do not eat those unhealthy food like my stomach has no end, it's that easy. And children who are obese are victims of child abuse and the guilty party is their parents, if you can't or don't want to check everything a child eats and drinks then don't have kids! And, the main reason why they invented that (and other things like that 1) is because after food and drink companies bent over for the people whining about sugar, salt and fat in our food and drinks started complaining that the food and drinks without any of these things tasted bad. As long as a lot of people do not see the words sugar, salt and fat in the ingredients they think it's okay then they turn around and blame everything and everyone for not being able to control themselves and be good parents!

Food labels are very deceiving, we can say it is all for marketing strategies, some are really good but there are some that are just for the sake of business. Obesity is really on the rise today, as there are many children who were not monitored and guided properly by their parents.
