Today is Monday. Did you exercise over the weekend? Do you take days off during the week? I usually take the weekend off unless I am doing some fitness activity with my husband such as hiking.

When I start an exercise I decide before starting it how much time I will be doing it and I don't stop until I have met my goal. The main reason for this is because if I'd take just one day off I will stop exercising all together. But I do take some time off exercising sometimes and these time offs are also set times I decided on before starting the exercising break.

I completely understand. My workouts have changed as I've grown older. But for awhile(many years ago) I did 50 sit-ups, 25 push-ups, and 50 leg-lifts every single day. If I was ready to go to bed and hadn't done them I made myself do them. That was the only way I knew that I would keep going.

Setting your goals ahead of time is a great way to keep to your plan.
