Lineage Societies are a great way to discover more about your ancestor as you document your way thru the different generations.

What experiences do you have in joining a lineage society? Is there one you hope to join? Why did you pick that particular society?

Hi Tina. I joined the DAR (National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution). A friend encouraged me to join and I thought it would be a great way to preserve the line. Needless to say, I am in my third year as regent of the chapter. It has been a very rewarding adventure.
