I went on a wonderful New Year's Day cooking spree. I was in the kitchen for three days prior to New Years' Day. I made sauerbratan and red cabbage with spaetzel. I had to marinade the meet myself as we do not have a butcher shop that supplies specialty meats. It turned out really nice.
During the holidays I made a resolution to go through all the recipes that I have collected during my lifetime, tried and not tried, sort them, and using them plan meals. I'll toss the ones that no longer interest me and keep the ones that turn out really good.
