Now there is a spa treatment of some excellence - amazing how animals can get it essentially right, naturally, spontaneously and without fear and we can't! Maybe we think too much?

Strange bedfelows? Maybe but there is no threat either way, and guess the cat just walked away when it had had enough? Or maybe the buck did? Either way, I doubt that either sulked!
