I have been quite busy lately and there has been a lot of rain around here. Today I am grateful to have been able to get out into the sun and fresh air. It was wonderful.

Today I am grateful that this flu i have is going away, with no complications. I am taking really good care of myself; not pushing anything physically at all.

Today I am grateful that the 6:00 a.m. phone call wasn't an emergency , but rather my earlybird father in law with a question for my husband.

WHEW, islandmom! that's a relief!

Today i am grateful for having a good mind.

After way over doing the Holidays, I am glad to be back with only a dark bruise on my face to show for it (from a rash that I gathered while ill).

Time to cleanse.

Today I am grateful for my daughter's phone call. Despite her busy-ness, she still calls to check in on things here at home, and most importantly, ask her "you know this stuff" mom for advice. (Today it was "you used to work in a bank. What do you know about certificates of deposit?" - I worked in the bank before the days of computers, and still she asks ). I love being a mother.
