I encourage you all to pay close attention to your dreams this holiday season. Many loved ones choose special occasions (birthdays, death dates, holidays) to visit with us during our dream state.

This is a dreams forum and not a metaphysical or paranormal forum so I will keep the focus upon dreams without venturing too far. But know that your dreams always hold a special message, especially this time of year!

Consider gifting yourself with a beautiful dream journal and writing instrument. Keep them by your bedside and jot down your dream memories as soon as you awaken.

The gift of dreams is a gift of the spirit.

Funny that I wrote about holiday dreams and the deceased because my deceased father did appear to me in several pre-Christmas dreams. He didn't say a whole lot. I just recalled seeing him.

However, as I was cleaning out my mother's room this past weekend, I felt his spirit watching over me. He said, "Yes! Throw out all that junk!" He used to get so frustrated with her because she was not a tidy person. LOL.

Our loved ones stay nearby in dreams and in waking life. Isn't that comforting?

I agree that our loved ones visit us in dreams. I wish I could remember my dreams more often. I think I need to put a journal next to my bed so upon wakening I can capture the memory right away.
