Hey folks,
I'm back, and here's this week's article! Hope you enjoyed the last one on omikuji. This week, find out how you can gain enlightenment and be granted salvation, Buddhist-style at a certain temple in central Japan. Check it out!

Some pix of Zenkoji. Since uploading pix on the forum has restrictions, I'm showing just the more interesting ones.
For some reason, there are Rilakkuma ema (wooden plaques on which people write their wishes on) and Rilakkuma fortune telling paper at Zenkoji... Go figure. If you don't know Rilakkuma, it's something similar to Hello Kitty. VERY popular with girls.

More pix of Zenkoji. The 1st pic contains a wheel which, if turned, protects the person who turned it from "pain" and "sickness". The 2nd one also has a wheel, but it serves a different purpose - 1 full rotation of this wheel = "completed chanting a full set of sutra". Something like that. How convenient...
