I love this dinner feast. I am not Italian but my boyfriend was, and we enjoyed this lovely dinner with his family for the past few Christmas Eves. This is some of what is served: linguini with crab sauce, shrimp cocktail, fried shrimp, baked stuffed shrimp, baccala salad, scallops, stuffed clams, and lightly breaded fried cod. There are also some vegetable accompaniments and tasty desserts, just like you mentioned.

We had scallops, calamari, and stuffed clams as well last night. Escarole was one of the vegetables, which I love, and two kinds of stuffed mushrooms. It was a great feast.
