The gravitational interaction of a pair of galaxies creates this distorted spiral out of galaxy UGC 1810. A swath of blue jewels across the top is the combined light from clusters of intensely bright and hot young blue stars in this Hubble image.

The HubbleSite gallery has a number of attractive seasonal cards which you can print - or with some manipulation, put into emails. They've added graphics and a greeting to some beautiful Hubble Space Telescope images. You can easily use them through til the New Year.
