Granpappy and I made Gingerbread men and women cookies tonight. Tomorrow we all can decorate them. Granpappy put a little jug in the hand of his Gingerbread Man.

I am going to make a red and white gingham dress for my Gingerbread lady with frosting.

Granpappy scared the heck outta me this morning. I went outside and saw a big snowman. I went over to see it better and it blew up!!!! Granpappy had some kind of device in it with a remote control. I heard him laughing from his bedroom window when I went flying into a snow drift. I gotta think of a way to get back at him.

That Granpappy is a little terror. Why don't you roll the sugar cookies in salt?

Good way to get back at him, Connie. But, then the salt would make him thirsty and he would tip his jug more often -- that would make him even more mischievous.

We have snow covering our little mountain this morning. It sure is pretty, but very cold outside.

Getting a lil bit of that white stuff mixed with rain in DC after a brief introduction on Christmas Eve, but not enough to make a White Christmas...

Cold... yup, very cold & that rain is freezing into a nice ice glaze on the cars.

I'm a little more north than you, Beetle. We got a couple inches of snow and then it all turned to pouring rain later in the evening with a good strong wind. I had to drive home from work in it last night.

I often wonder what the heck I am still doing in New England when I could be enjoying a sunny climate out on the west coast with the rest of my family....

We had a lot of rain, then snow up in the Sierras. Then it has been snowing off and on here in the valley, so everything is covered with snow. Temperatures are dropping really low at night and ice is building up.

Today is bright and sunny, so hopefully it will clear up most of the ice.

Granpappy has been so busy being a General and admiring the statue erected in his honor, that he forgot to party on New Years Eve. No problem .... he started partying this morning right after breakfast. Great!
