Hope, in whatever power or form is built into the self-recognized spiritual soul. It will not be subdued. When another force attempts to conquer it it finds an escape automatically.
A similarity is that of a particular plant seed. I can not remember which one that it is but it is so determined to germinate that concrete can be poured over it and it will still find a way to sprout. The resulting action would seem to completely cover and restrict any life however in observing its predicament it will enact new attempts of survival.
It will emit an enzyme for the purpose of breaking through the barrier. If one does not work it will try another until it finds one that dissolves the substance directly above it allowing it to break through. It has that much perseverance not unlike the spiritually enlightened !!!!! I must say again even though my opinion may encourage an undesired argument there still remains the fact that there are no levels of spirituality. It is just what it is. It is a oneness that just keeps revealing itself minute by minute. The comparison and divisionary world of the human mind reverts back to the oneness of all forms of life in the universe. Especially in these days are we seeing that we are evolving very rapidly due to the energy increase upon the planet. What used to work and be the standard for living years ago may no longer feed the soul.
We allow ourselves to move past our fear and to germinate in every circumstance.
The title of your article is just amazing Debbie. I am very upset because of some personal problems but the title of your article attracts me and i must say that your article motivates me. Now i hope for the best. I really liked the last line of your article i.e If we believe in ourselves hope will always be there for us when we need it. Thank you so much for encouraging us through your article and thanks for sharing it.
Dave.....your explanation of that unique plant seed was great, and it really inspires us all to do our best and to be our best. We have a lot of power within us if we just believe in ourselves. And I do agree with you in that what may have worked in the past for living no longer feeds the soul. We are evolving into who we are meant to be, who we really are.
Thank you for your post.
