For all of us who grieve the loss of our children, from Connecticut to Somalia to Japan and everywhere and anywhere in between...my heart is broken for you.
Please know that you are not alone in your pain, that somewhere another mother wails, another father weeps, another sibling aches. Somehow we find each other and a brief moment of solace and understanding and compassion flickers in our soul.
