BellaOnline Forums Books and Music Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Nirvana and Paul McCartney?

I have just been reading about a Nirvana and Paul McCartney collaboration and am honestly not sure what to make of it all.

What do you think of this? Who would you have chosen (if anyone) to take the place of Kurt Cobain for a Nirvana reunion? I honestly don't think you could replace Cobain but maybe someone could at least bring their own style into the mix.

I feel that although Sir Paul mentioned a 'Nirvana Reunion', it was nothing more than a gathering of talented musicians getting together for a Jam Session. It just happened to be members that comprised the group Nirvana with McCartney. The music was reminiscent of Nirvana but could never reach the pedestal that they held with Cobain.
