This season find out how to switch the holiday focus a bit from getting to giving by gifting your kids with Charity Checks.
These empower kids to do good.

See this week's Adventure LIving column.
What do you do to get your kids to think about others during the holidays?

Thanks,
Candyce

Thanks, Candyce ~

That is a great suggestion. Whether you use Charity Checks, make a donation on behalf of your children, or decide on an organization to give to as a family - the holiday season is a great time to engage in charitable giving.

If you do give gifts, you can still encourage giving - clean out your closets and your toy shelves to make room for your new things, buy a few extra cans at the grocery store and visit a food bank, visit a home for the elderly and brighten their days with cards, songs, and treats.
