When it comes to beautiful design and creativity in clothing, Native American peoples are experts. When trade items came to the Appalachian regions, ribbon quickly became very popular with tribal women.

Thank you, Debbie. I love Native American crafts also. I have not tried the ribbon work, but do a lot of beading.

Beetle has done some ribbon work that is very nice. Maybe we can get him to show us a picture of his shirt he did some beautiful work on.

Actually, I had the concept & commissioned a well-regarded seamstress to do my ribbon shirt. She actually went a couple steps further & added symbolisms into the work. I have to admit that I got a bargain on the effort & understand that she is no longer vending out & making ribbon shirts...

Ah! I remember now, Beetle, about the seamstress who did the work for you based on your own ideas. I do have that picture from a long time ago. She did a great job.
