We had a very nice Thanksgiving, thank you, Debbie. It was sad without our mother, though. But, she was with us in spirit.

We felt a loss here too, Phyllis. My boyfriend usually said grace and nobody took over for Thanksgiving. It was just too hard to do it. The first year is the worst, so they say....
Yes, our loved ones are always with us in spirit, and I am lucky to still have his visits in my dreams.
We smile and move forward. On to the next holiday....

Yes, moving forward is the best thing to do.
I said grace in my Mother's place. At the end of the prayer, I said "PS, thank you Mother for teaching brother and I how to cook."
