I woke up to frost outside this morning. The colder weather is here and I feel it in my bones. I am not fond of cold weather, but I just have to deal with it.

It's actually chilly in here this morning. What a weird sensation.

Jilly, Granpappy did a chimney sweep and cleaned out the fireplace. He will have a nice fire going soon to take the chill off. I set out all the afghans for those who want to snuggle into one and curl up with a book and a hot drink.

In fact, I think I will do that right now. I am reading "A Witch's Guide to Faery Folk" by Edain McCoy. She is a great writer and this book is very interesting.

Sounds real good, Phyllis. I love relaxing by a fire. I will take one of those afghans and sit with a hot chocolate. Maybe I will even take a nap......

It is very overcast today and a bit chilly outside. I hope we get rain. We got a little rain last week and the little mountain really soaked it up. The rain washed all the soot from the fire off the rocks and boulders and it smelled like it did right after the fire early in the summer.

I hope those rocks and boulders stay put. If we get enough rain, it could dislodge some of the boulders that are sitting in a precarious position and aimed right at my building.
