Simple Meal Ideas the Family will Love
Sometimes its hard to think of meals the family will love. Here are a few suggestions for dinner.

These are great ideas, Tina.

Even a simple cold sandwich can be made into "dinner" by treating it like a grilled cheese sandwich. It can be slowly grilled in a covered pan with a little oil or butter to warm the contents of the sandwich and to brown the bread. Brown one side and then flip the sandwich over to brown the other side. It adds great flavor too!

I used to go overboard making homemade, multi-course dinners for my family. My son once said that coming home to a nice meal helped fortify the "troops" because he and my husband worked so hard.

But today, I have scaled back considerably mostly because there are lots of demands on my time now with caretaking duties, writing, and working out of the house. We've resorted to lots of fast food with occasional homemade meals. I need to turn this around.

Thanks for the reminder that I can still cook simple but satisfying dinners with little effort. smile
