Granpappy always has something in mind, that's for sure.
I have been doing a lot more beading lately, trying to use up my antique beads in projects. I am beading a bracelet for myself and have to finish it up soon so I can start on another project. Beads are such a fascinating thing for me, especially the antique ones.

Hey, Phyllis... make Granpappy a bracelet & then he'll have something up his sleeve all the time!

COOL ! What a great idea, Beetle. What colors and size beads do you think he would like? The smallest I have are 15 I think, my antique turquoise ones. I am feeling so good today, Beetle. Beading always brings me back to my rightful spiritual place. I so love you and Granpappy -- life would not be the same without you two.

Just don't get to excited & stab yourself with the needle.
Granpappy kinda likes to be masculine, so the larger beads could work. 11/o or 12/o - or maybe do one in macaroni & yarn, so he'll have something to eat when he's stuck up at the stillin' works.

I got all my beads sitting out, putting ones I think Granpappy would like in my tray and trying to find a pleasing, yet masculine, arrangement that he would like. How fun!

Who cares about masculinity? Granpappy claims to be half-colored blind anyway; he's always saying the street light ain't red (when it is). Maybe he's just in a rush to get outta town.

Granpappy just got back from town and he hit up the general store while he was there. Brought back some staple items for the pantry so I think he is hinting at having a hot meal prepared for him. He also has a piece of meat with him. Not sure what it is......squirrel.....possum.......hmmmm......looks like roadkill to me. I will make it for him if he really wants it, but I sure as heck am not going to taste it!
