As much as I love having the day off, it's important to remember that today is NOT just a day off. It's a day to remember those who served in the military and made sacrifices so that we COULD get the day off.

Both my son and ex-husband did tours. My son did two tours in Iraq and my ex did a tour during Desert Storm. I salute them both and all others that served.

I so agree Dianne! I'm an Army vet and I often remind others that freedom isn't free.
