Speech and language disorders impact the ability to communicate. Ineffective communication can have the ability to isolate individuals socially and educationally. These implications can be avoided by providing interventions that are early and appropriate with supportive resources.

Thanks for the list of resources. My son has been working with a speech therapist for 6 months now and was just diagnosed with autism last week. So I am trying to find as many resources as possible to get him all the early-intervention & help I can. I wanted to add to your list that there are a lot of free resources available through the county, and then when the kid turns 3 you can get help through the school system. So parents out there, reach out for help - it is available!
