I caught a couple of cans of Progresso Recipe Starters for almost free (with coupons) today so I was looking for an interesting way to use them for a meal. I came across this recipe on the Progresso website. I made it tonight (with a few minor changes) and it was great.

1 can of cheesy Progresso recipe starter
2 4oz cans of diced green chilies
Sprinkle of chilli powder
Sprinkle of red pepper
2 cups of diced cooked chicken
Half of a box of rigatoni noodles
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

I put them in the crock pot on low for about 4 hours (although the recipe calls for stovetop cooking for 30 minutes). When it was finished I added the cooked pasta to the crock pot, sprinkled some shredded cheese on top and served it. It was a big hit tonight.
