Thank you, Debbie. I have so much fun when I write a fiction story. I guess I take after my Dad more than I ever realized. My stories are simple compared to the stories he could spin.

What's new on the front porch today, Phyllis? The sun is bright and the sky is very blue today where I am. Just a nice day.

Gorgeous day here, too, Debbie. I am going out for a walk in a little and gather some desert sage. Got lots of left-over chicken in the fridge if anyone wants some.

I need a break today, so I think I will sit on the porch swing and relax for a little while with my hot tea. It is so nice to look out at the mountain against the lovely sky. So peaceful.
I'll grab one of those great rosemary chicken legs from the fridge in a little while. Cold fried chicken makes for a nice snack!

We have had some wonderfully sunny days and my sweet peas are growing like crazy. I am anxious to see them start blooming to see what colors I get from the mixed seeds. My alyssum has been blooming for a few days now and I can faintly catch the scent of them. It is going to be sweet around here when everything blooms.

Sounds lovely, Phyllis. The blooms here in the yard now are from geraniums, impatiens, astilbe, lilies, hostas, fuschia, and mini calibrachoa petunias.
I'm going to sit down with a nice cup of hot tea right now on the porch swing.......I love swings! There's plenty of hot water and various tea bags at hand if anyone wants to join me.
What are you all up to this morning?

Dad burn it! Granpappy keeps wanting to find a way to covert the tire swing into a stealth still. He says all that energy being expended just has to convert the mash into jugging material. Next he'll be eyeballing the porch swing to concoct somethng.
