I like cooking. It is a happy thing to cook for family and friends, especially when they tell me that the dishes are very delicious. Anyway, I am not a good cook, sometimes horrible Do you ever cook? How about your experience?

I do not look to cook but with 4 kids there is no way to avoid it. I try to cook 3-4 meals on Sunday and then I don't have to cook so much on a daily basis...especially since I work and go to school. I also have to say that my crock pot is my best friend. The food is always tender and moist and I don't have to stay and babysit the food. I set the crock pot on low before I leave and then the food is done when I get back home.

I like cooking when it's fun. Daily routine, not so much, but I've recently found a few illustrated recipes that I make with my kids and so I can spend time with them and get food done too. I used to adore cooking from the time I was a little girl, experimenting and flipping through cookbooks. I'm not a great cook either, just a joyful one!

Don't cook as much as I used to when the kids were small, but I still do a fair amount. It's a labor of love so it really depends on my mood.

Lori...you sound like my daughter. She is only 11 but she has been cooking for as long as I can remember. She loves to bake, fry, grill....everything! She makes at least one meal a week in my house.

You are very lucky! And she is lucky to have you. I always tell my mother that I appreciate how she let me experiment with all the kitchen equipment and ingredients, even when I messed up and wasted some!
