An interesting article Asha, Victoria really was a pocket dynamo one way or another wasn't she? Even more especially for the times. Albert and Victoria certainly did a lot that was positive, appeared to be a great team during their years together, but their descendants have turned out to be quite a mixed bunch.
Their grandson Germany's Kaiser "Bill" probably being the most notorious, he was no friend of democracy and of course partly responsible for the First World War.
Am not a royalist particularly, however think the present Queen does Victoria proud, obviously inherited a mixture of "good", if somewhat diluted by now, genes from her and Albert.
