This is very serious. Wasn't it ZuPreem the one that had the recall on the baby macaw food for hand-fed babies? That was possibly fatal too.

I believe it was Kaytee that had the hand fed macaw food recall Calla.

Oh my gosh, this is the first I'm hearing about this. You would think with all of today's technology that the pet store could contact us or email us something since we have a customer card and purchase this product from them (a major chain). Unfortunately I put the food in a large Lock n Lock container for freshness so can't check any codes on the most recent batch, although that should be good.

We'll double-check codes before we purchase anything just in case.

There has been two instances of late where the bird food companies have put too much of something in a product that could have fatal results. That is, two that I have seen. I have recalls going through email constantly. Daily there are products that can kill our children, our pets, adults - scary stuff Vi.
