Right Stuf has announced that the company has acquired the license for Osamu Tezuka's Princess Knight television anime series.
According to the announcement, Right Stuf is planning to release Princess Knight in North America on two limited-edition DVD box sets in 2013. The releases will feature the original English-language dub, as well as a Spanish-language audio option.
Due to the availability of materials, the DVDs will be using the edited and cut broadcast footage from Princess Knight's television syndication during the 1960s and 1970s. Unfortunately, there will be no Japanese audio option on these sets because it cannot be synched with this footage.
