It took me about 5 minutes to declutter my linen closet, and about a year to get round to doing it. Isn't that always the way?

Anyway, there was a massive pile of towels on top of the dryer that should have been in the linen closet, but couldn't fit because it was too full. The children kept getting towels from the bottom of the pile and the pile became a mess.

There is a thrift store pick up coming tomorrow, so I filled a garbage bag with unwanted linens, put the remaining items neatly in the linen closet, put the towels in the linen closet and the whole job took me about 5-10 minutes.

The question is, why did I wait so long to do that?

Have you got any jobs you are procrastinating over that will only take you a few minutes? Why don't you go and do them now?

How weird to read this post at this moment. Just this morning, I put away some linens and thought, "I need to clean this out." Someone has been stashing things there that don't belong. Flashlights, light bulbs, decorative serving bowls. What the heck.

Yet, instead of taking the three minutes it would have taken to remove those items, I thought, "I have to clean that out" and then I closed the door. LOL.
