Try a different take on a peanut butter sandwich. This article has ideas that you might enjoy.
Susan, thanks for the idea for this article. I hope that it is what you wanted. I'll do another article later about the different types of peanut butter.

When I was little, my grandma would always say to my sister and I, "Girls, would you like peanut butter and butter, peanut butter and lettuce, or peanut butter and mayonaise?" We would always say, "Um, Grandma, what about peanut butter and JELLY?!" She always had crunchy peanut butter and we both hated the way it squeaked between our teeth!

Kim, I have tried peanut butter and mayo. It's not bad, but like you, I prefer jelly. I also enjoy the sliced fruit. Sliced fresh, ripe strawberries with the teensiest bit of sugar sprinkled on them makes an amazing peanut butter sandwich!

My grandpa always did peanut butter and butter sandwiches which grossed me out honestly lol, but he swore by them. Also, peanut butter and banana is a favorite with some of my family members. I prefer just plain peanut butter with a bit of wild flower honey or homemade preserves.

Connie, enjoyed your pbj article. My mother, annoyingly, used to put butter on ours, insisting that it was too dry without it. When I got old enough to make my own, the butter went! I do love it with grape jelly, but you don't get much of that in Britain. Raspberry jam is a good substitute for lack of grape jelly. And I really like it on tasty wholemeal bread.
(Most Brits think pbj is a horrible idea, but then from people who eat Marmite, a revolting salty yeast spread, what can I say!)

Mona, you are too funny! Have you tried blackberry jelly or jam? It is one of my favorites.
