The more we meditate, the deeper we sink toward our roots that go inward, and radiate further than the physical and mental realms into the unseen spiritual. Diving Deeply Into MeditationDo you enjoy the comfort of feeling connected that meditation affords?

Great article, Susan.
With my limited time lately I know it will take some work for me to get my meditation to where I want it to be. I really have to dedicate more time to my needs, and soon. I miss my quiet time.

Debbie, thanks for your appreciation. I've found the easiest time to squeeze in a meditation is right before bedtime ...

By bedtime I am too wiped out to even know my name. Being on my feet for hours with my job and caring for my two high energy dogs pretty much does me in. First thing in the morning is sometimes tough for me too. I need to figure out a good time. I think I could manage it on my days off, but when I am working there is just not enough energy to go around.

I get up about 25 minutes early each morning to practice tai chi, which is a form of moving meditation. Before I did this, I would get up in the morning and promise myself I'd find time for it but the day got away and I didn't get it done.
I guess it's like anything else, you have to set a schedule for it and stick with it. Once you see the benefits, you don't want to give it up.

Over the years, I have decidedly been so introspective as to kind of be in a waking meditation throughout the day.
Sometimes that's good, other times it makes me absentminded.
Stripping off labels is important -- any religion or no religion.
I have been inspired lately as I read an article where that muti-billionaire fellow in India with the $1.3 Billion home or thereabouts has a very spiritual wife.
It seems that every human being has two factors that each of us must fit into life:
Time and/or Money.
Irregardless of our current, past or future socio-economic status... it seems to me that these two factors are the great liberator and/or enslavement to each one of us.
Unfortunately even meditation must fit in here somewhere.
I guess it comes down to personal discipline after your hierarchy of needs are met.

Burt, yes, I like your line:

Susan, I really like that statement. I know it sounds crazy to some people but the unseen spiritual makes entirely more sense to me than the visible.
I always wanted to ask you, What town do you live in in the Netherlands? My grandmothers people were from Friesland and My Granddads were from the Gelderlands. A Long time ago they came from Nijmegen goedeavond,,, dave

It is true. I need to make the time. It certainly is important.

Jennie, thank you so much for the appreciation.
Debbie, right now with the fall equinox looming is a good time to rearrange your schedule to include a minute of meditation ...
